The existing header had become too complex for changing user behavior and new platform expectations. It needed to better support search, favorites, mobile usage, and a cleaner enterprise navigation model.

Produced a redesign rationale deck and responsive appendix showing how the header could simplify tabs, better align with Office 365 patterns, improve visibility of favorites and search, and scale across multiple viewport sizes.
