Ongelma

The existing portal header and page structure consumed too much space, relied on dated patterns, and made navigation harder than it needed to be across a growing enterprise experience.

Mitä tein

Developed redesign concepts for the header, mega-dropdown navigation, breadcrumb behavior, footer, left navigation, and page-body anatomy. Built supporting layout scenarios to compare different ways content, sliders, tiles, and supporting modules could be organized.

Vaikutus

The concept work created a clearer strategic direction for later portal modernization efforts by showing how navigation, layout, and screen economy could be improved together instead of as isolated UI fixes.

Opit

Redesign concepts are most useful when they connect visual change to structural change. Navigation, hierarchy, and layout strategy matter as much as the surface styling. This work explored how the enterprise portal could evolve beyond a simple visual refresh into a more coherent navigation and layout system. The concepts paired information architecture, utility, and cleaner visual structure to make the portal feel more modern without losing continuity for employees.
