Vendor Extranet Mockups

Problem

Partner-facing experiences often sprawl across inconsistent access patterns, branding rules, and role expectations. The challenge was to create a more coherent extranet concept that could scale across partner types.

What I Did

Created mockups for the MacysPartners extranet, including login treatment, menu styles, structural framing, and role-based content scenarios for different classes of external users.

Impact

The work showed how a partner portal could balance shared enterprise branding with differentiated content delivery based on visitor role and relationship.

Lessons

External portals need strong information architecture and role logic early. Shared branding alone is not enough when access rights and content models vary by audience. This artifact explores a vendor-facing extranet concept for Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s partners. It combines authentication, navigation styling, common structural framing, and role-based content targeting into a cohesive partner-portal vision.
