Problem

Labcorp, global leader in i ovative laboratory services serving doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and patients, needed strategic guidance on designing mobile app for cancer patients requiring sensitive handling of complex medical data.

What I Did

Researched cancer patient app requirements and healthcare best practices. Created design brief outlining key considerations for sensitive medical data. Developed conceptual mockups showing CBC, WBC, RBC, platelet, and other lab result presentations.

Impact

Provided strategic foundation for patient-facing oncology app development. Addressed unique needs of cancer patients accessing complex lab results. Outlined best practices for presenting sensitive medical information in mobile context.

Lessons

Healthcare apps for cancer patients require different thinking than general wellness apps—the stakes are higher, the data is more complex, and the emotional context demands extra care in every design decision. Oncohub—This research brief with conceptual mockups outlines some key considerations and best practices regarding a cancer patient app for global laboratory services leader Labcorp.
